In the UK, Pete Long's all-star Goodmen Orchestra regularly tour with a re-creation of the Carnegie concert. With Richard Pite, drums (a very nice set of 1938 Slingerland Radio Kings!) Joan Viskant, vocal and of course Pete Long, clarinet. Keep an eye out for this, it’s a very good show with an authentic sounding, non-amplified orchestra - splendid stuff.
